Mumdance and Logos’s label Different Circles follows up the ‘Weightless Volume One’ release with a four track solo EP from Logos, featuring an apocalyptic noise remix from Berlin based techno and industrial producer Shapednoise.
Logos (the production alias of James Parker) is a London based artist who creates spacious and hypnotic grime and club influenced electronic music. Emerging after a long period submerged in the UK underground with his futurebound take on the original grime ‘devil mix’ concept in 2012 with the Kowloon EP on Keysound Recordings, followed by his celebrated Cold Mission LP in late 2013.
His energised and stripped-down collaborations with fellow London producer Mumdance have surfaced most recently on the Tectonic full-length Proto in early 2015. In addition to DJ and solo live performances, Logos collaborates with Mumdance and Berlin-based techno and industrial producer Shapednoise as The Sprawl.
Logos also forms one quarter of the crew who promote the London night Boxed which has lead the charge for forward thinking instrumental grime amongst an emerging worldwide group of producers and DJs.
